Robinson is running for governor. This doesn't necessarily guarantee that there won't be split ticket voting, but it definitely will hurt Trump. The question is will it hurt Trump enough. Note that Trump came to visit and the Trump camp kept Robinson as far away from Trump as possible during the visit.

I'm just a rando on the internet, but I tend to think this is pretty bad for Trump in NC. Maybe people make the effort to get out and vote for Trump and then leave governor blank or vote for Stein, but I think it's a lot more likely they stay home or protest vote the GOP.
