Uh, seems like Trump's visit to the NABJ is not going well...

But would Kamala get in front of a crowd of Heritage foundation donors/moms for liberty supporters/etc… and do a Q&A?

Because, honestly it’s not entirely that dissimilar of an analogy.

Black people, generally vote.. what 80%+ Democrat?.. I think Black women at higher rates (and it was three Black women questioning him). And journalists have been one of the groups most at odds with him. What are the chances even 5% of these attendees voted for him ever?

It was a bad interview, but I think the fact that he was willing to go for it says a lot.

Can you imagine stumblin’ mumblin’ Joe doing a Q&A in that hostile of environment? Or Harris? No, because their overlords wouldn’t allow them because they know how awful it would be.

Just another reminder about how the Democratic ticket is controlled by a political machine which is itself strictly controlled by donors.

Whereas Trump is an individual who is beholden to no one except voters.

If Heritage Foundation Donors and Moms of Liberty Supporters were journalists….

Either this was a bad call on the Trump team’s part, or they wanted to get him some air (any publicity is good publicity per Trump). Don’t know which, but I suspect the former. I think he honestly believes that he is in fact the best President for POC after Abraham Lincoln.

I understand there’s not a 1:1 comparison because most journalists are extremely liberal.

My point is, he was willing to go out of his comfort zone.

Did Biden ever even do a one on one interview at Fox with someone who was super critical of him?

You are assuming that Black journalists are Black first rather than being journalists first. We could easily look at white men and make the same sorts of assumptions about their political bent based on their race and gender, but somehow that's a critique that is only leveled at bipoc and women.

You’re just going to ignore all the people who run Trump, including the billion dollar bribe from oil and gas?

I know “weird” is supposed to apply mainly to Trump and Vance but…

She is half black Jamaican (her father) and half Indian (her mom). She has never not been black.

She is the first Indian-American to become a Senator, and first Indian-American woman to become a Senator.
She is NOT the first black person to become a Senator, that was Hiram Rhodes Revels, 1870.
She is NOT the first black woman to become a Senator, that was Carol Mosely Braun, 1993.

Hope your confusion is now cleared up.

Her father is half Jamaican and half white. Mother is all Indian. Harris is more Indian than anything and she has presented her self as Indian until it was convenient for her to be black.

She went to Howard and was in a historically black sorority.

Maybe you suffer from the same thing as Trump? An addled brain.

This is obviously the plan of attack that the Trump campaign is going with, which is hilarious because 2 months ago senior gambling leadership was saying that the road to the White House was going to run through converting Black and Latino men.

They knew they were polling poorly with women of all races following Dodds, and following the rape conviction, but said they were going to add a Black man for every woman that they lost.

But Black and Latino people understand complicated racial identities, and this is not a an approach that is going to work to convince them they are welcome in today's GOP

Tell that to people like Tariq Nasheed, who has 367,000 followers on Twitter and was just on Don Lemon’s show yesterday.

There’s a lot of anti immigrant, homophobic, and xenophobic rhetoric coming from Black men like him, who have a big audience in the Black community. Trump’s speech was music to their ears.

Not true. White men are judged as a group all the time. Just read DCUM. I am not a Trump supporter.

Of course Harris wouldn’t. Notice she has not had a single interview or answered any substantive questions since she has become the presumptive nominee. Not one. She has only spoken using a teleprompter reading words that someone else has written. She cannot think on her feet. And that is why she can never become president. She cannot make tough decisions.

The media will not question her unwillingness to respond to them just like they gave Joe a pass when he campaigned and throughout his presidency.

Kamala couldn’t even show up at this event with journalists who are friendly to her.

😭😭😭cry harder😭😭😭

Kamala has been going all over the country campaigning and raising a crap ton of money. It would be stupid for her to interrupt a news cycle that is working in her favor. I know you love Trump and love people who do stupid things, but the rest of us don’t.

She is unable to respond to unscripted questions. We have seen that time and again.

And I guess you are saying that Kamala sitting for an interview or responding to questions without a teleprompter would be stupid since she can’t do it effectively. I agree. But it is something that a president is expected to do.

It’s an interesting choice for someone battling questions about cognitive abilities to make his main attack line about his inability to understand that people can actually be two races.

And then when she does an interview, you’re going to claim she had an overly friendly interviewer, and then when she goes to a more hostile network, you’ll say the whole media is in her camp, or she was destroyed, and so on and so forth.

You’ve done all of this before, to Obama and Biden. It’s old. 😭😭😭😭. Keep crying 😭😭😭😭

Your attempts at deflection are obvious and lame. Trump can’t respond to questions effectively and we just saw that with our own eyes. You’re like a kid taunting “I’m rubber and you’re glue…”

This.

Are you weirdos keeping tabs on her purported instances of racially “presenting” as Indian or Black? Do you track this info in a spreadsheet? It’s comically strange the way that you cultists are so in the bag for your racist emperor that you sort of lemming-like agree with him, even though his entire performance at NABJ was grotesque.

When has Trump recently been effective in non-scripted interviews? Even Laura Ingraham was recently and visibly frustrated by his rambling inability to respond to softballs.

So Trump is explicitly going for the racist vote? Black people are not like that though. Most black people in this country are biracial. We aren’t going to attack our own because a white conman told us to.
