China is not monolithic and it's military doesn't have as much capability to act upon information collected in the areas the balloon flew over.
My concern is if this information was indirectly collected by the pro-Russian Chinese elements to give to Russia? |
Nice try, LWNJ troll. |
You are responding to a troll. ![]() |
Oh wow, such spin. They could have taken it out over the vast open country in Montana, with plenty of warning to the few civilians who live there. But bravo, Biden administration! Such a brave feat, shooting down a BALLOON over the ocean, but only after allowing it to surveil our country's sensitive military installations. Slow clap. |
The US has been tracking this balloon for a week. If he gave the order on Wednesday, that is way too late. |
That doesn’t seem real to people. Is that right? No, but that is the way people think. If Americans had died due to shooting down the balloon, MTG would blame the Jews or something. |
How do you know you know everything? |
What a specific and useful insight. Wow! “Weak.” Now that is soooo useful. Thank you for the lightning bolt. |
DP. You sound embarrassed. You should be. |
The US used to have the Open Skies treaty with Russia that allowed the Russians to spy on Americans from the skies for years whenever they felt like it.
China is only doing this to get a rise out of Americans and that's exactly what they got. The balloonsewrn nothing new that Chinese satellites don't already know. This is China's cheap way of trying to project power. China cannot project naval power. They get extremely angry at the US for conducting freedom of navigation exercises all the time in the south china sea. I'd put all money down on China trying to make Americans feel the same like they supposedly do with a foreign govt 'interferring' over their business. Of course.it is absurd since the US freely navigates in open waters while China claims them, but this is China trying to do the same thing for cheaper since they cannot project their navy. |
China shows its mastery of 1940s technology |
Not what our defense experts are saying. The balloon is possibly testing technology such as being used as a weapons platform in the future, etc, immobilizing troops, etc.
You have zero idea what they are/were planning. Don’t be ignorant. |
But talking to the same people who several pages ago took the word that it was a “weather surveillance” balloon off-course. Christ. Thank god that brain trust isn’t in charge of our national security. |
A balloon is so inefficient. The Russians got much better results just donating money to the Republican Party. |
Is that what republican “defense experts” are saying..lol republican experts! Maybe this was part of the Jewish space lasers? |
