so funny when babies are born the exact day. OP here - both my first two were exactly 39 weeks. Both were maybe about 7 hours of labor.

3 more days to go before I hit 39 weeks with this one. So curious if it will be the same or different!

Baby one: 4 days before due date.
Baby two: 4 days before due date.
Baby three: 10 days after due date.

Two boys three years apart, went into labor spontaneously with both at exactly 39 weeks 5 days (even similar times of day - evening)

37 +1 (slow leak) - had to be augmented with pitocin, had epidural, 5 hour labor
40+2 - went in for induction, started walking the halls - once contractions started, maybe 20 min until baby was out - all natural
39+3 - got accupuncture in afternoon at 2pm (trying to avoid induction) - started contractions around 7, baby born at 10:30 that evening - all nature

All three born within 3 years

No pattern here. 1st birth - went 0-60 in a matter of minutes. 2nd birth - labor stopped and started for a week.

OP here: I'm still pregnant!!!
Due date is this Saturday. 39-week mark came and went 4 days ago.
So I'm one of those with a pattern... that isn't a pattern! So funny that my first 2 came right at 39 weeks but Baby #3 is taking their time!

Feeling great, though. Since I'd already wrapped everything up at work I decided to start sick leave anyway. Which has been wonderful- time to play more with the older kids, baths and walks, cleaning/organizing things I put off since I'd been doing all this while working 45+ hours a week too....

So feeling good

OP here: baby #3 came at 40W 3D!
The labor progressed more rapidly than previous times. We barely made it to the hospital. Around 2pm I started to feel contractions about once every 15 minutes or so, short ones. By around 6pm I realized we'd probably need to go to the hospital tonight. A friend came to watch our older kids at 7:45. Ran a red light to get to the hospital. I was rushed to a room- she was born literally right away!! 8:45pm!
