My kids wear them to school. My kids wears his to indoor baseball coaching (an hour of pretty intense exercise). He has not passed out yet (been regular wear since March). Guess he is tough.

Some people in Arlington have completely lost their minds. Unvaccinated under 12 is at less COVID risk than a 40 year old vaccinated. Riding in a car is more dangerous to them.

"He has not passed out yet" from intense exercise in a KN95 - that has to be more dangerous to him than COVID.

It is a good thing you have your own kid and don't need to worry about parenting mine.

I wonder if this is the nutter who told NBC News in a TV interview that she sends her kid to school with CO2 Monitor on him too.

lol. No that is not me. Just a parent whose kid needs steroids to recover from typical colds and who is not a pathetic whiny baby about masks.

Funny, I find the KN95s far more comfortable than any other mask, because they stay off your nostrils and mouth. I wore a KN95 8 hours a day October-June and did plenty of physical exercise with my students last year. Yes, the mask was uncomfortable when we were really working up a sweat (so we made sure to take lots of breaks and watch the intensity), but uncomfortable is not intolerable. Not a single student in my school passed out.

Nothing beats the KF94, they are by far the most comfortable and easy to breathe.

Not being whiny, but masks are uncomfortable, we're 18 months into this now and there's no scientific proof that a cloth mask definitively helps a child under 12, especially vs. the costs of their language development, socialization, etc. My children have suffered enough for a disease that doesn't affect them.

Good thing my kid is a gifted extrovert! I have some wiggle room.
