He'll probably never be over her. Their relationship didn't end because of cheating, or lack of attraction or all the other reasons for splitting on DCUM, his wife died. She
ll always have a piece of his heart. If OP can't handle that she should move on. And yes she should be on the lookout to see if he's moving their relationship forward and not disproportionately dwelling on his wife and their life together. For now it's good he called and told OP what was up.
