Not at all. Capitalism at work.

Just pointing out that activism pays big...... if you are a Democrat.

Isn’t capitalism the GOP mantra? I still don’t understand why OP’s knickers are in a twist.

NP. I don’t think anyone’s knickers are in a twist. But you can’t deny that Democrats have invited extra scrutiny due to their outrage over exactly the same thing - when a Republican is involved. That’s why Sen. Whitehouse was raked over the coals. It’s called HYPOCRISY. And it will 100% continue to be called out.

I’m not sure how it’s hypocritical for a Democrat to make money? Can you explain?

Whoooooooosh…
Can you even read?

Whoosh yourself. You don’t really have a point here. She’s earned money, the real regular way, not the scummy, corrupt Republican way. Is that bad? Is it bad for a person to make money? How is that hypocritical? If she started advocating for paying less in taxes on her new millions, yes, that would be hypocritical. She’s not being a hypocrite. You guys literally just seem to think that being a Black woman Democrat means she must have taken a vow of poverty. You have some stuff you need to unpack because those literally seem to be your expectations just for some people.

But nary a word about all the crimes the GOP have committed to get their millions and steal their positions.

Can you show us the checks from “activism”?

I’m sure she also makes quite a bit of money on speaker’s fees.

Why is this a thing? Relatively speaking, she has chump change.

DP.
Someone above laid it out, really.
She was writing books under a pseudonym. Not much success with sales.
She becomes an activist on the left, changes to her real name, and sales sky rocket.
She is taking advantage of her role as an activist. She was a nobody until she became the fake GA governor.

So…she should have taken her books out of circulation? Is that what you're saying? How bizarre.

No. Why did she use a pseudonym to begin with? That all changed after her failed gov. race that she can't admit she lost.
Figured she could cash in on her new activist role.

Lots of authors use pseudonyms. You’re not much of a reader are you.

Now, Stacey Abrams.

Former Democratic Georgia gubernatorial candidate Stacey Abrams now owns two homes in Georgia collectively worth $1.4 million despite having been hundreds of thousands of dollars in debt before her unsuccessful run against Gov. Brian Kemp.

The former candidate was catapulted into the national spotlight during her slugfest 2018 run against Kemp that saw her claim victory for months after the fact.

Since her electoral failure, though, Abrams has made a series of property purchases in DeKalb County that have been scrubbed from the county tax assessor’s website, according to records obtained by Fox News.

Most county tax assessors in the state of Georgia, such as in Abrams' DeKalb County, have a searchable database for property information, but individuals can request to have their information taken offline.

The article sounds slanted, because they refer to an “electoral failure.” That leaves out important details about what happened.

Are we taking Trump to task or Ivanka (who made 100s of millions during her dad’s presidency) or just black people?

So why does this matter? Can you help me understand?

Trump junior wrote a book and earned a bunch of money. Now Jared will cash in.

Trump himself didn’t even write a book and made money on it. He made money on books and hotels after becoming president.

Could you explain why a famous women who isn’t governor should not be allowed to sell books?

Fun fact: the RNC, the Senate Conservatives Fund, National Republican Senatorial Committee and National Republican Congressional Committee spent more than $1 million on bulk purchases of books by GOP candidates during the 2020 election cycle.

Seems like a big backdoor for bribing GOP politicians while in office.

Is Stacy Abrams currently holding public office?

Oh has she? Like all the right wing nitwits who "write" "best-sellers" which are just bulk purchased by special interests. Publishing industry is a huge scam.
no, she writes mysteries.
