Interestingly, she only wrote romance novels under an anonymous nom de plume while she was a legislator.

It wasn't until after she left office that she published books under her own name. Which, of course, is the ethical thing to do.

She wrote 9 romance novels, of which the sales skyrocketed once her identity was revealed. So yeah, she's made a lot of money as a writer but she did so in an ethical manner, IMHO.

Yes, that was exactly my point and I’m not sure why Bronte PP attacked me about it. Abrams is A) not a right wing nitwit and B) her books were not bulk purchased by special interests because C) no one knew she was the one writing them.

I'm inclined to think Abrams has earned her money. She works hard, gets results, and -- today I learned -- writes books.
