Montgomery County Public Schools (MCPS)
Mr. Taylor was fantastic at Cabin John Middle School - loved by teachers and students - smooth operation. Great atmosphere. He is the right person for Churchill. |
Wholeheartedly agree. |
He was well liked when he was an AP at Churchill for about 5 years prior to becoming the CJ Principal. Good move putting someone in place who is not only well liked by the community but also very familiar with Churchill itself. |
| Sad to lose Deeny at TPMS although my youngest have already moved on to HS. |
Who is backfilling as P for Taylor at CJMS? |
| Congrats to these folks. Hoping Principal Deeny fills Damon’s big shoes well. |
I think they will still be able to get permanent people in there. Now, if they hire someone from an elementary school to fill the CJ position, then that elementary might need an interim. |
Bayard Rustin's principal intern will now be serving as acting principal for the year. They could arrange something similar at the other schools whose principals were promoted today. |
whew.. glad to hear. We were sad to hear that Mr. M was leaving. I have a MSer coming into RM next year. My older one has had a really good experience so far at RM under Mr M. Sad to see him go. |
I thought the AP would be principal. She is an excellent administrator. |
| The AP is the principal intern, and she (Mrs. West) is really great. |
| Who can tell me about the Greenwood principal? |
Either kind, warm, and the sort of leader that makes everyone better. Or a cold, calculating climber who'll stab anyone in the back. Those are the only two types DCUM ever gets. |
| That's pretty good, though as someone who works in MCPS, I'm also well-acquainted with a third type -- generally pleasant but not-too-bright and widely known-to-be ineffectual. These folks stay in their position forever. |
She’s absolutely amazing. A big loss to TPMS. You are VERY lucky to have her. |
