Would you travel to Europe this summer with unvaccinated kids to see family?

We are traveling to Europe in June and have been there twice since pandemic started...

We’ve been quite careful and would otherwise not take a vacation that involves flying, but I’m seeing how big my nieces and nephews are and if we don’t go this summer it will likely be another year before we see them!

Would you go? Or is it too risky for the kids?

No. My family is in Scotland and I miss them terribly but it’s just too risky this summer.

Where in Europe? And when?

No. My kids are very young and I won’t even take them on a plane to Florida.

We are doing this. They haven’t seen their grandparents, aunts and uncles in over 1.5 years. I believe everyone will be vaccinated by the time we get here so the major risk is the plane.

I want my kids to have memories of their grandparents. We have no idea how long they will be heathy/ active.

I would. Dr. Leana Wen said she would and that’s good enough for me.

We are going. My daughter will be two. She had COVID, and likely has some natural immunity. Everyone at the house in Eruope will be vaccinated.
