+1 I can't believe people won't do something until Bowser or the CDC says it's safe, especially for something like wearing or not wearing a mask outdoors. Good golly, the desire to follow the "guidance" (because they're not even rules or laws, just opinions/guidance!) no matter what is strong here. Why doesn't your husband want to leave? |

Well I live in DC and masks are going away for me. I’ve simply stopped wearing them. If the manager of a store asks me to wear one, I will- but not some random other shopper or person on the street.
I am firmly of the opinion that we have to start taking this matter into our own hands, and pushing back. |
So you're ok with making extra work for the manager of a store? Based on "I don't wanna have to wear a mask, and I shouldn't have to"? I honestly don't understand the huge fuss some people are making about wearing a mask. For me personally, wearing a mask has been the least bad thing related to the pandemic. Many, many other things have been worse. And I've been very fortunate, so those other things don't even include -getting covid -getting seriously ill from covid -dying from covid -losing my job -losing my home But here people are, acting as though unnecessary mask-wearing were the worst thing that ever happened to any person in the history of the world. |
+1 I'll happily stop wearing a mask outdoors, but I'm not going to make life one iota harder for some retail clerk or grocery store employee. Wearing masks indoors is like the least difficult thing ever., and pretty much everything can be open. People are such children. I'd imagine that they changed the rule again because putting the burden of deciding whether or not someone needs to wear a mask on frontline workers is a PITA, and might lead to unpleasant and even violent confrontations. It's MUCH easier for businesses to have a mandate that they can point to. |
Great idea. I am not stopping at traffic lights any more if I think it is safe to continue. Taking matters into my own hands! |
Unfortunately plenty of drivers actually do that for real.

| Is it really true about condo buildings? |
I already turn left on red arrows if no one is coming, but the above is taking it too far. |
I'll put you in the "laws don't apply to me" category. |
Big difference. I, as a fully vaccinated person, am not a danger to others. This is based on science, not what "I think." |
Businesses have every right to require masks, or cards, or both, or neither. Their choice. It is called freedom. We frankly will not entertain or socialize with anyone who has not been vaccinated. |
It called being selfish and self-centered. Lets say. 25% of this country could never be called part of the Greatest Generation. |
Not true at several layers. |
The Greatest Generation were a bunch of racist a-holes and they spawned the only generation worse than they were. Would never want to be associated with them in any way. |
Then, please leave the USA. You clearly do not deserve in a society that they died fighting for. |
