No - it’s entirely my neurotic side.

Next year, if there is an all virtual academy, what will happen in situations like this when classes need to quarantine? Will class just be shut down for the week since the virtual capabilities won't be set up within each school? This could affect all 3 levels of schooling. Even though most MS and HS likely will have the option to be vaccinated, that doesn't mean that everyone will be vaccinated and the data is still suggesting that one can catch C19 after vaccination, even if unlikely, but hospitalizations and death are greatly reduced among vaccinated people.

Probably. But the APE crowd hates concurrent and wants to end it. I don't think they've figured this part out yet, but they will hate it next year when their kids don't have class for 10 days and they can blame themsevles. They couldn't even handle no classes for teacher grade prep day today.

I don’t think classes will quarantine.

If your kid isn’t in class with an infected child, why does it matter? Will you take some dirt of action knowing there’s a covid case? The school notifies all families that need to quarantine.

This. Did you send your kid expecting there would be no cases in your school? That’s completely unrealistic and you should stay DL if that’s your expectation.

Not PP, but we are considering whether to send our elementary schoolers back for the rest of the year. Watching closely the data coming out of their school, and if numbers appeared to be rising rather than staying steady or falling, we would keep them home and wait for next year.
