One thing that FCV does better then any other club or program across the DMV?

Let’s break it down bud!
McLean 04? 0 Large D1 schools
BRYC 04? 0 Large D1 schools however 03 had about 3-4 out of that whole team?
Loudoun 04? NO Large D1 schools
VDA 04? 0 Large D1 schools
Richmond 5 LARGE D1 schools
Metro 04? 0 Large D1 schools
FCV 04? 7 LARGE D1 schools

What does Richmond and FCV have in common? Promotion, that’s the common name of the game and they do it best. They get those girls seen.

Richmond and FCV are the standard? Lol. Ok Babby. Most teams focus on player development not promotion so if that’s your thing, good luck. Smart parents on this forum know what league their girls will need to play in to be competitive and not have to rely on your promotion.

As for a merger didn’t FCV already partner with South County after the St James deal?

That’s my point! If FCVs pathway is stronger then any other DMV clubs around the area why not go with the sure thing? Clubs have been exposed through Covid. Those who don’t have strong connections with college coaches or who doesn’t have a strong pathway have now been exposed.
If you want your clubs to keep generating talent and money, get those kids seen, promote them to go to the NTC or ECNL training centers, it’s really that simple. The more you have coming out of each age group the more desirable you are for talent to stay and the more college coaches will commit those players at top D1 programs.

LOL and how is that working out for all those 03/04 girls NOT committed? Development you say? FCV girls are actually going to the highest levels in women’s soccer. How are you promoting your girls? Not in the slightest, that’s why they aren’t committed and I bet even though you have major talent on each of your teams those girls haven’t been called up. Have they? I even bet some of your girls are being looked at for top D1 schools, have you helped them lock that in? Again, I bet not. Don’t preach to me when we make things happen over at FCV and you all are scrambling playing catch-up at your players expense.

^^^This!!! It doesn’t matter what league FCV plays in. They have connections no other club has and it’s basically guaranteed pathway to D1 scholarships. UVA, Georgetown, Stanford, UNC will take any starter at FCV if they want to go. USWNT is only available in nova via FCV. The 05 FCV team already have 10 verbal soft commitments. Steel sharpens steel!

Why would FCV want to promote their players to ECNL training centers?

The point is that DMV clubs mostly are in ECNL how many of those girls go to ECNL training centers? About the same amount that go to NTC 0-2 at each age group. FCV GA send the girls ECNL local clubs don’t which means they don’t have the same promotional skills we do. Not that hard.

I always think it funny how people try to figure out who is responding by throwing out names, sound like idiots. LOL Bobby ain’t on here, you think he cares what happens on an anonymous forum. Get real!

Agreed. Promotion is key and no other club works as hard for their girls as FCV. My DD has over 12 scholarship offers and now it’s about which college is offering the most playing time. UVA is willing to take her and her friends at FCV so they can stay together as a group and dominate ACC. UNC won’t offer this but I’ve asked the club to make this happen as this is our preferred college.

It doesn’t matter what league we play in. Look at the facts and stats. What is Loudoun doing for their girls. Nada. How many call ups did Loudoun get? Exactly. Best coaching and placement in town. Hands down.

This is true for all the surrounding ECNL clubs. Have done nothing for the 03/04. FVC has those are the facts.

How are they dominating anything if they can't even dominate at Jeff cup in a weak covid year?
