IAAT

My child took this test early Feb...and keeps asking how it went. Hopefully it will be soon.

I'd like to know because if my child didn't get 91%, we are going to blow off the SOL.

Good point!

Any news.

Not yet from our school. We had the test in mid February.

Not yet. They said April though but there’s still quite a bit of April left.

I heard they should be any day now. (ES Teacher)

Thanks ES teacher! It’s been over 11 weeks for us.

Ps. Do you know, will we receive them in the mail, school envelope, or on parent vue?

My kid brought his report card home yesterday. I think they should have slipped the IATT score in there but they didn’t!

One angle I heard was that to allow kids who are doing FCPS remotely and not physically located within the United States (i.e. they are doing remote outside of the country) to take the IAAT in the summer. I wonder if that's why the results are not coming out yet? Judging from this forum and the topic of kids/families being outside of FCPS to do remote learning, I wonder if the # of those kids created this aberation from the normal results coming out around now. Or, and I'm completely willing to concede, that what I heard is completely off-base and there isn't a scintilla of truth to the "kids not in the U.S. needing to come back in the summer to take it" explanation.

I say let’s wait til end of April & if still no scores we can start looking into the weird theories

Agree on the wait, but if results are nationally normed it shouldn’t make a difference. It’d also be unfair to the kids that took it in the spring to wait that long for the answer.

I’m pretty sure our kid took it first week or second week in Feb so it has been quite awhile.

I received my results for my DS via email from the school today. He took the test on 1/8.
