I'm all for reopening everything once people who want to get vaccinated can, but right now there are plenty of people with underlying medical conditions who can't get vaccinated, let alone anyone who wants a vaccine. We really can't wait another month or two?

they are welcome to stay home.

That's next up! We will not stop until that is accomplished. (PSA - come join us at the Rally for Bowser this Saturday at 2:00!)

Why would Marylanders go to a Rally for Bowser?

No. I can't wait another week. This is the one year anniversary of this whole debacle and I'm done.

Exactly. This pandemic is all about you.

Don't worry PP. Plenty of us are reasonable folks who will continue to stay home and be cautious until most are vaccinated. I'm keeping my mask, too, for the grocery store, for the foreseeable future.

Nope, we can't, because it's NEVER "another month or two." I am old enough to remember when we were told we were shutting down to "flatten the curve" and "prevent the hospitals from being overloaded." Well, the curve is flattened and the hospitals never overloaded. The goal posts just keep moving. Next it's going to be "well, ppl with underlying medical conditions and old people and service workers are vaccinated, but there's no vax for kids!! Can't you just wait two more months until all of the kids are vaxed?" No. Cut the BS.

Then they need to exercise proper precautions until they are. I, on the other hand, am fully vaxxed and intend to live life accordingly!

There are three effective vaccines, and it appears likely that there will be enough for every adult in America by the end of May. We are vaccinating 2-3 million people a day. We can literally see the end of the tunnel. Everyone who dies between now and then is someone who wouldn't have died if they could have gotten vaccinated. I know that a lot of people don't give a sh** about anyone other than themselves, but Jesus, I hope that marshmallow tastes good.

Right, but once they are, we know that that's not going to be enough for the Lockdown Lovers.
