I think it's more about leftover money. 15k of a 300k income is probably a lot easier to manage than 5k of a100k income

We’re spending a lot more these days - maybe like 25-30k on 400k? I feel like we can’t take it with us and we don’t have a huge house or want one. We’re not flying business class or anything (though I am considering it for the first time for one specific trip that I think being rested would help). Unfortunately with more than 2 travelers can’t use points - have to use cash.

Hhi of $700k. We spend about 10 percent on travel, about $75 k a year on average. Two international tris a year and a couple of mini breaks.

Not the $14M pp but you're ridiculous. No point to lie on an anonymous board. Just because someone makes many multiples of what you do doesn't make them a liar - just makes them more financially successful than you. Jealousy's not a good look. I love hearing the perspective of high earners. I'm the PP who revived this thread. We earn seven figures but I was just looking at Adventures by Disney and calculating what many of those trips would cost for our family of five and thinking wow, WHO is going on these trips? Who has this kind of stuff in their budget? So it's interesting to hear from those who earn even more than we do.
