PP here: I don't know John personally but when I saw this post, I was baffled and just called the number to the show because they were still on the air at the time.

Your post seems to imply that he committed suicide. Is that what you were intending?

Not the pp but that would be my guess. If it was another “long illness” that was not a mental illness resulting in a suicide/od it likely would have been stated

This is very sad, I used to listen to him all the time growing up and getting ready for school.

Can someone give me a cliffs note version of what his “drama” is? I know there’s a huge thread about him already but it’s quite long and I didn’t think it could be that juicy as he’s not like an A-list celebrity.

Messy divorce. Complete with restraining orders and other weird things like wife passing out in the driveway.

This isn't about Nat, but yes. Probably within a year and a half. It seemed fast.

I hope that, as painful as it is, Pete's family can advance mental health counseling and treatment in his memory. He was a young guy with a lot of potential and a great career for so many years.

WOW, my mouth dropped open in shock when I saw the news. My thoughts are with his loved ones. The original Kane Show got me through my commute in my early 20s. Then the drama and resultant thread brought me to DCUM in 2015 and the rest is history.

Rose posted a few pictures and some nice words on her IG. While like any American I enjoyed the drama and trainwreck of entertainment that was the Kane Show this is very sad news. Keeping his kiddos in my prayers.

What a tragedy, especially for his daughters. He and his ex wife both made their divorce and custody battle a public sh*tshow which undoubtedly hurt their girls immensely... now on top of that trauma their father is gone.
