I won’t be supporting this podcast - neither of them have been on the show for years and the man is dead. They need to find a new topic to get attention. It’s sort of lame how they are still harping on this years after the fact. |
HE IS DEAD. CAN WE LET THIS THREAD DIE TOO? NO ONE CARES. I FEEL PEOPLE CLOSE TO THIS DEAD PERSON KEEP POSTING TO KEEP THE THREAD ALIVE.
HE IS DEAD. DEAD AND GONE. |
Then skip over the topic and click on ones that you enjoy. |
We are supposed to stop talking about someone when they die? Feel free to skip. |
Whoever doesn’t like the thread and wants it to stop can just scroll over and keep it moving. If you don’t want to listen to the podcast then don’t do that either. But this thread is about him. If you don’t want to read about him you know what to do. |
I'm glad I listened to the podcast. I'm not a Danni fan and only learned about it from a friend sharing about it on IG. Had she not done that, I don't think I would have listened as I no longer follow Danni anywhere. Anyway, it's interesting to me to hear how much it was clear to everyone around him how he was in a downward spiral out of control and no one from iheartmeadia tried to help. There was always rumors on Twtter, their FB page, and even here that Kane was drunk on the air from time to time, haha, but to know it was true and everyone knew and did nothing... wow. So they just let him drink and pass out at the mic and then what? Drive home later? The saddest part of Part 2 was when Danni said how shocked she was seeing people who knew how Kane had treated people & yet they still posted positive and loving memories of him after he passed. And Sarah countered with how shocked she was at how few memorial type messages she actually saw for who he was and how long he did his job. She said he was news for one day and the next, nothing. It was like he had no real friends and no real life outside of work and his basement. Very sad. |
I listened to the Dani podcast last night after learning about it from this thread. Sadly, I’m not shocked by anything they mentioned and I believe it all. I think Sarah and Dan I just want to talk about what happened to them. He died so they can finally tell their stories. Yes, it’s been years since they were on the show. Imagine telling someone they can’t talk about their abuse that occurred 10 yrs ago bc it happened too long ago and they just want attention. Just bc he’s dead doesn’t mean that everyone has to forget about everything negative and only praise him. |
+1 seeing people bump this up to make horrible insinuations about his wife and mock a clearly somewhat mentally ill woman is just like, honestly stomach churning |
These two people are very sick and are completely lying. |
I would believe it was lies if it was one person. But then you add in, firstly, Sammy then Sarah then Melanie then Danni, and the others they have insinuated there are but choose not to speak up. And at that point, you have a pattern. Patterns don't lie. Danni literally wasn't even the first. She was just the first to be loud about it and not accept the silence. The others took their checks and moved on quietly. A big part of that is because as white people, we don't always know what abuse is. Sarah said he was a terrible coworker but it wasn't until therapy that she realized it was like having an abusive partner. They may have just perceived his BS as being a terrible coworker/boss but Danni, as a POC and someone who was used to abuse from being a POC, recognized his BS for what it was and called him and the company on it. Sarah even said that she and Sammy put in the leave at the same time but iHeart Media held her contract so she couldn't leave at the same time to rise suspicions. |
I did like one thing that Danni said at the end of her podcast: if you don't want people to talk sh!t about you when you're gone, be a good f**king human when you're alive.
More people should subscribe to that. |
So Kane died from alcoholism. Drank himself to death - from what it sounded like. Very sad. But it’s encouraging and I’m happy I’m 1 year sober from alcohol.
Addiction sucks. If we can learn anything from kanes death, it is that you NEVER know what someone’s going through behind the scenes. RIP. Saying a prayer for anyone still suffering today. |
