“Somebody” wants to know why SYC is doing good in ASIST - update scores if you play against SYC

More clubs should think proactively like this. Our children play at a rival club and would not go to SYC but I always respect great ideas regardless of where they come from.

If expanding the borders of recruitment is SYC’s proactive idea for the future, they better not complain when their own players flock to Arlington, McLean, or VDA. Don’t forget, they can leave whenever they want since ECNL players cards are different than USYS and CCL can’t say it’s a violation.

I don’t think anybody complains about competition outside ECNL clubs and I don’t think they view these clubs as competitive for players.

Great. You are knocking the cover off eight-year-old soccer in northern Virginia. Looks like Arlington tarred and feathered the SYC 2010s.

No, they’re not expanding borders. Reread. They bringing in players “for MLS” (which really is MLS Next). There’s nothing occuring for any other team

5-1 isn’t tarring and feathering but it is a pretty decent score line

Those players would otherwise consider VDA or Arlington. I don’t know what you mean.

So should those players consider VDA or Arlington once they age out of MLS Next age groups?

If not at dcu, why not, unless they are not interested in paying full freight or going to college.

That was the 2011 Arlington reds over SYC. The 2010 Arlington red team beat SYC 6-0 in the final.

Might have been different if the Bethesda 2012 top team weren't playing in the top U10 bracket instead of U9 with SYC.

One year up; I think that was true for all top Bethesda teams.
