This is u9 boys. 3 shutouts. 12/12/11-0.
Why are they playing in the 3rd bracket? Its a sneaky way to get a trophy. http://events.gotsport.com/events/schedule.aspx?eventid=80113&FieldID=0&applicationID=6082268&action=Go |
They have two teams in 2012. One is in the first bracket. |
That’s common, the younger teams get excellent results but the 11v11 teams really start to struggle and drop off. More so on the girls side but it’s evident on the boys side as well. |
What I’ve seen with SYC u-littles — they use their arms and push very effectively; a very physical style of play. Not particularly technical or skillful, but effective especially at u-little when most other teams are working in ball control and technical skills. Will be interesting to see if their u-little success continues into the older age groups, once they start facing other teams who have been trained how to push off the ball. |
If you are referring to scores above that is an NCSL team not a GA team. |

All SYC teams playing in the Arlington Tournament are going to finals. Just go to the website and see the standings.

This is incorrect. |
For every other age group besides U14 (not posted yet) it is correct. |
Their U10, U11, and U12 Orange teams did not advance. |
| They are importing players for MLS from Manassas, which has an excellent coach, great pipeline and terrific location for recruiting talent. Good for them. More clubs should think proactively like this. Our children play at a rival club and would not go to SYC but I always respect great ideas regardless of where they come from. |
So they should be in the 2nd bracket. 4 games with >10-0? |
This really is not on the club. It’s on the tourney. |
The solution is top team should be playing U10 and second team would be top bracket U9. |
The FCV GA team didn’t play state cup. That was FCV’s second team that is 05/06 mix. |
FCV second team beat SYC first team 6-0!? 😱 |
