lie about what? why so cynical? |
I don’t understand what’s so difficult about taking the extra 10 seconds each day so the county can have a clear picture of what’s going on from the public health perspective. |
Lie about it symptoms. I’m not PP but I can see where they are coming from. Parents do sometimes send their kids to school sick or after they have been exposed. But I think the precaution is good anyway. |
+1 APS has never asked for something so easy. |
ASK. You don’t have to do it. There are virtual kids doing DL all over the country. This “data collection” is a joke. |
Your joking right?? No way would this provide a clear picture of anything. Your kidding yourself if you think it will provide any meaningful data. |
Some people just like to be difficult. |
Well we know it’s not going to because jerks like you are not willing to fill out a 10 second survey. |
I would fill it out if it would actually serve a purpose. It doesn’t. I fill one out daily for my kid in private school. I’m not doing it if my kid is not in school. |
Ok nobody cares. Drop it then. |
APS will try to argue it does. You watch. They will publish stats using the virtual kids to water down the percentage of COVID cases for hybrid cases. I'm not going to help them by filling it out for my kid. I'm also not going to attest to the fact that I'm keeping my kids 10 feet apart during youth sports outside of school when I'm not doing that. My kids are playing outdoor sports. They are masking all the time and distancing as best they can. But they are not staying 10 feet from anyone. |
Will they send an email too or is it just texts? I don't get the texts and have no desire to sign up for them. |
I work for APS and get both |
Op had to opt into the texts and is now mad she can’t figure out how to just put her phone in do not disturb lol. You can just keep getting them via email. |
Actually it's just lazy and rude on the part of APS. They should absolutely know who they are expecting to attend each day - and it's BS they can't tailor their list. Why should OP have to silence her phone, just because APS doesn't want to use a freaking filter. There are valid reasons - important reasons - to not silence your phone. There could be a family emergency. But APSs inability to figure out basic technology is certainly not one of them. |
