A store salesperson told FOX 5 that their security cameras captured the thieves stealing a Levo SL Carbon eBike worth $8,000 and a Levo Expert Carbon bike worth $11,000 from their store in the 4800 block of Wisconsin Avenue around noon on Thursday.

So, a new e-bike can cost $8,000.

In contrast, the estimated average transaction price for a light vehicle in the United States (according to Kelley Blue Book) was $38,378 in July 2020.

In other words, you can buy almost 5 new e-bikes for the same money as 1 new light vehicle.

We would need 5 to be able to transport my family.

How is the bike a danger to you in a car? In the one bike accident I got into (an Uber driver hit me while I was in a bike lane), there was minor damage to his side mirror, and he was totally fine.

Well, we know who was at fault here! Did you pay for him to fix the car damage? Or did you act like a victim while you recklessly think that traffic laws do not apply to you?

Sorry, how was I at fault? I was riding along in the bike lane. He pulled into the lane and hit me. He apologized profusely, claiming he hadn’t seen me. I told him that’s why he shouldn’t be driving a car in the bike lane and headed to work. My wrist hurt for a few weeks from where he’d struck me, but that was the end of it.

Good thing it was just a water bottle. I honked at a creep on a bike that blew through a stop sign and almost T-boned me on the passenger side of my car and he looped around next to me and smashed the top of my car with a bike lock. Put a huge dent in my roof!
