Is this confirmed?

No but that is when they have been sending them out historically. I get that this year is different but I would suspect that they will aim for that release day. It gives them close to 10 days to let Parents stew over the results before having to address the parents. They like having that cushion.

I just hope that parents this year get longer then 2 weeks to make their decisions and that those of us who went through this last year can attend open houses this year. We kept our child at the base school because we heard nothing from the Center and we did not want to change schools during the pandemic. DS is able to attend Advanced Math and Level III, which is great, but it would be nice to see what the other option is.

Given some of the parents, can you blame them?

Can't blame them at all. Not one bit.

Nope, I don't blame them but that is why I would expect that is when results will be released this year.

It would be so nice to hear by the end of this week rather than after Spring Break. I’m not counting on it but hopeful.

Normally you hear the Friday leading into Spring Break but I don't know if they sent out a different date this year.

Does anyone know if we will hear this Friday?

That’s when they will notify schools, and then send letters? So it could even be a couple more days later than that knowing how slow the mail has been.

The AART told us that results will be e-mailed starting on the 5th.

No idea. Last year parents received emails after Spring Break notifying them if their kid was in or not (not sure if they also got follow-up letter in the mail). Curious if those not in also get an email or just those that get accepted....

We received a letter as well as the email.

We did have to check a strange email address to find the email. make sure you know what email you put on the form when you submitted it.

Why can’t emails be sent tomorrow? It’s not like they are meeting over the break to decide. Decisions are probably already done.

We didn't put any email on the actual parent referral form - I didn't see an option. We did however email the AART our forms - so I guess that'll be the email that gets the notification.

Go back and look. Email was definitely on the parent referral form at the top.
