I mean I think it's always been on the table that they were so upset because they didn't do quite enough fraud / cheating to actually win lol.

It would explain the epic freak out about losing anyway. They thought they had it in the bag maybe? Idle speculation, which I probably shouldn’t do. But I’m prepared for anything.
