His former partners who are suing him pretty much said this. He assaulted one of them.

Sounds like he mental health issues and PTSD from his childhood.

..that's no excuse, btw. But people like him are much more susceptible to cults like Trump Nation.

And yet lots of us who’ve been abused physically and otherwise don’t resort to violence and conspiracy theories. His childhood may be a reason; it’s not an excuse for his behavior. Get help, seek treatment. Clearly he’s created a lot of damage (you know what they say - hurt people, hurt people), and he could have taken that as a sign to get help. He didn’t. I don’t have sympathy.

oh ITA... but it explains how seemingly "intelligent" people are so easily fooled into joining a cult. Most people who join cults have some mental health issues of some kind.

The law certainly didn’t care about battered wives then. Also says he is estranged from his adult children. They probably think he’s crazy with all this conspiracy theory stuff.

So can someone walk through the arguments of disbarring him? Is it that he’s welcome to spew whatever 1st Amendment protected nonsense: crazy views he wants as a citizen but once he brings them into the courtroom using his law license, he’s held to a higher standard?

The law doesn’t really care about battered wives now.

He said online that his partners requested exams to see if he was insane, and he reported that the exams proved he was not.

His spewings go far beyond "1st Amendment protected nonsense", for starters.

I don’t know how parler and parler takes works. Why is the date on his post Jan 7?

Probably because he didn't like that Pence didn't swing the election for Trump on Jan. 6. ParlerTakes is on Twitter and was reporting the more insane posts on Parler so the general public didn't need to sign up on Parler to see what was being posted there.

I mean - we’re taking the crazy person’s words for it? Didn’t Trump insist he was healthy and refuse to release his
medical records on the same excuse?

The First Amendment protects his radicalized speech about starting revolutions and that the extreme right is being denied their rights and so on.

However the First Amendment does not allow him to interfere with a state's legal rights to certify their legally conducted election. Lin Wood spread many fabrications about Governor Kemp, Secretary of State Raffensberger and filed lawsuits in Georgia. They were dismissed for lack of evidence or actually ruled against and even after the court cases were adjudicate

d by the state, state appeals and the George Supreme Court, he continued to libel the Governor, the Board of Elections and the Secretary of State. He also continued to threaten all of the above with violence and retribution.

None of these are fitting behavior and they violate the conduct, behavior and ethics laws of the Georgia State Bar and they tarnish the reputation of the law school that he graduated from.

He's also been sanctioned in Delaware. One judge refused to let him represent a client in Delaware in a defamation lawsuit, saying he was not of sufficient character based on his actions in other state courts.

The timestamp of Wood's post on Parler is not clear. The tweet was posted on the 7th.

F*ck his childhood. The jail cells of America are full of Black men from abused backgrounds. PTSD? Please. White privilege is the only reason this assh*le is walking around free to destroy others. He can get help in prison.

Who would have thought that this guy turns out to be the least sketchy doctor in the Trump saga?
