| Oh and if this is a boy shoving a girl so had that she broke her wrist, you need to get that little creep out of the “bubble” and to a psychiatrist....those kids are way too old to dismiss that behavior with a shrug. |
| The parent whose child it is decides if there is a punishment or not. If its your child, you decide. If its the other child, then you have no right to decide nor does the injured child. That's bizarre to allow a child to decide the punishment for another child. And, if it was an accident an apology is enough. |
I know! It sounds like a 'bubble' with 12 competitive adults and two kids that are encouraged to compete as well. Very strange setup. |
| Well the aggressor is going to discover his games aren’t nearly as much fun played alone and will get to see the injured kid pampered. Those are good consequences in and of themselves. If he complains about not having a playmate he needs to be reminded he brought it all on himself. And absolutely watch for more aggressiveness. |
| This should be in the little kid forum. Little kids acting like little kids, and parents overly involved. |
+1 I think OP is the mom of the kid who got hurt and now she seems intent on really doing a prolonged punishment. That type of retaliatory behavior is a form of passive aggressive bullying and it is made worse because it is being performed by an adult against a kid. |
That is such sexist bullsh!t. So it's ok as long as the girl shoves the boy? |
