They don’t have to sell the property at a discount (or at all) just because they are already rich. They are not a charity. Some of you clearly don’t understand business decisions at all. It’s their land. They can sell it or not.

The ferry owners are seeking eminent domain. There is no guarantee at all that Virginia will grant it. And even if they do, the state has to pay FMV for the land and justify the eminent domain.

This needs to be reopened. As a cyclist, there is no safe crossing from the MD to VA side.
