Outdoors, playing sports, no masks....? Seriously that is not what we should be worried about.

Indoor dining, Nails, Hair salons...come on people that is just stupid.

OP. Your post is pure speculation/lies. How did you hear of this so called outbreak?

Don't you have papers to grade?? No, most parents most certainly do not want DL.

Plenty on parents want hybrid bc their kids completely blow off DL. Any chance he gets, my nephew switches over to TV or his gaming console. My sister can’t watch him all the time and the teacher is not able to monitor because the camera goes off anytime they go into their math application or Google docs.

Your sister is an idiot. Take the gaming console away.

All of it is a concern. Sorry it that is an inconvenient truth. What was ok earlier isn’t now. Masks on kids is needed, sports need to pause too.

OF course they're not mentioning it.

I'm sorry, but this is the epitome of entitled North Arlington families thinking they're "above" Covid.

Feeling defensive because your child goes to McKinley and attended a Halloween party?

Give me a break. NA is generally very conscientious about covid protections, more so than the vast majority of the country. You can find rotten apples anywhere; it’s not a north Arlington “thing.”

Feeling left out you weren't invited?? You seem to be a joy so I can't imagine why you were left out?

I'm not disagreeing with you.

Um, no. The MS and HS kids on my street are always hanging out in large groups. They all toss their bikes outside the house and hang out inside. I've yet to see one of them masked. All summer, they were having sleepovers and traveling together. I'm surprised it took this long.

This. Anyone can cherry pick what is "safe" based on their own desires. The truth, inconvenient as it may be, is that it all needs to stop for a few weeks except the bare minimum. I'd say through mid-Jan. It doesn't have to be a "lockdown" but scaling way back on what is allowed. And that includes organized group sports.

Why do people say such dumbass sh-- like this? People can have opinions you don't like without being jealous? Let me guess you were Regina George in HS?? No? Than stop acting like it.

And before you say anything, I don't even live in Arlington and my kid is not old enough for "parties."

Thank you. And believe me I don’t take this lightly. I work in a spa, on commission. I will not be making money as we scale our appointments back. And the emergency PUA unemployment hoooo that doesn’t really do much. We need to take things more seriously and tamp this down. Even if our kids aren’t going to be back in school, let’s get our community safer. Tighten it up now so we don’t have to go on a heavier restriction. Self monitoring is a really hard thing to do but I know we can.
