Bullocks they would be getting together even more since “already exposed in school so not much added risK”

No. Far better to foment internet outrage with vague rumors.

January.
This s*** is not opening for the vast majority until mid-October 2021.

To be clear; OP wants schools OPEN! I'm pissed that stupid people are putting barriers in place to that.

If we all don't do our part, our schools won't open for this school year. Yet this break out is among a group who wants to return. I want to return but this type of behavior is delaying what 70% of us want, in-person school.

Take care at the playgrounds. Stay safe; wear a mask and please remind your kids to do the same. Thank you.

Most of the families that I know who want to return also don't believe covid is a huge deal, and that since the vast vast majority of kids recover with no issues that it isn't something to stop life. They also are families that haven't focused on self-isolating or at least keeping a very very small bubble. I don't know what school OP is referencing, but our kids attend one of them and my statements here are based only on what I see on social media and in our neighborhood and local parks.

+1000.

I actually think schools could open if kids just went to school and families behaved themselves outside of school. But these people want it ALL. So here we are.

This makes me so sad, but not at all surprised. I live in the McK area and there are so many families that are acting like the pandemic never happened. I expect a Swanson issue, too, based on the kids who live behind us. They have constant gatherings and their group is never masked.

Most parents want DL anyway

Don't you have papers to grade?? No, most parents most certainly do not want DL.

Plenty on parents want hybrid bc their kids completely blow off DL. Any chance he gets, my nephew switches over to TV or his gaming console. My sister can’t watch him all the time and the teacher is not able to monitor because the camera goes off anytime they go into their math application or Google docs.

If my kids could go to school, I would by happy to stop ALL socializing outside of school if it means keeping them there. Seriously.

Now i hear it's among some swanson kids too. So this means that IF we were in hybrid mode, one ES and one MS would be closed this week b/c of carelessness. Now my old neighbors are wearing masks outside as they do yardwork. Upside, it's cold outside so the masks keep faces warm.

Is the Swanson outbreak related to McK?

AHAAA!! So it was you. So what school was it? My son's friend group (Nottingham) had a small Halloween get together but we declined. Plenty of people had parties, but from what I can tell they were as safe as they could be.
