I do see a lot of kids at Jamestown playing group sports with no masks And on the playground with no masks.
Outdoors, playing sports, no masks....? Seriously that is not what we should be worried about. Indoor dining, Nails, Hair salons...come on people that is just stupid.
All of it is a concern. Sorry it that is an inconvenient truth. What was ok earlier isn’t now. Masks on kids is needed, sports need to pause too.
This. Anyone can cherry pick what is "safe" based on their own desires. The truth, inconvenient as it may be, is that it all needs to stop for a few weeks except the bare minimum. I'd say through mid-Jan. It doesn't have to be a "lockdown" but scaling way back on what is allowed. And that includes organized group sports.
Thank you. And believe me I don’t take this lightly. I work in a spa, on commission. I will not be making money as we scale our appointments back. And the emergency PUA unemployment hoooo that doesn’t really do much. We need to take things more seriously and tamp this down. Even if our kids aren’t going to be back in school, let’s get our community safer. Tighten it up now so we don’t have to go on a heavier restriction. Self monitoring is a really hard thing to do but I know we can.
