Be careful. This product is shit and well known to have fakes from Amazon.

+1 I always wondered how you're supposed to leave a conditioner in overnight- do you use a shower cap while sleeping?

Yes.

Must be a no sex night. I can't imagine sleeping next to my husband in a plastic shower cap.

If your husband deal with you looking less than perfect for a single night, you have problems.

I have used Olaplex 3 on my slightly dry wavy/curly hair, and didn't think it did much of anything.

Everyone’s different- the Elvive water made my hair look like cotton candy, awful.

I use Olaplex- if you want to try it without buying a bunch of product, get a stand alone treatment using it at a salon. It’s not pricey (maybe $25ish?) and zero downside.
I tried the #3 by itself when it first came out and was unimpressed. My stylist did a treatment using 1 & 2, and wow! HUGE improvement. For reference, I only color occasionally with a Demi but my hair is heat styled and very fine, so damage shows easily.

1 & 2 are the powerhouses- if you know someone with a cosmetology license they can get a travel set of all 3 for you to try at home.

I don’t; I use old pillowcases on those nights but if you put in on damp hair and let it dry before going to bed you don’t need to worry. Your hair will be weird feeling until you shampoo in the morning but it doesn’t stain fabric or rub off on other things imo.

I tried Olaplex 3 (I bought it directly from Olaplex so it was not counterfeit). It was ok but certainly no miracle.

As for sleeping with deep conditioner- I put it in in the afternoon and by night, it dries. Its not as gross as sleeping with wet conditioner. I also put a towel over my pillowcase.

My hairdresser gave me a couple of Olaplex products to try recently. She kind of raved over them but for me they've been meh. Can't recall the numbers, but one is for pre-washing and one post-wash.
