Some teams going to National Capital tournament which is same weekend in VA No reason to hike it to sub par fields in MD...
|
National tournament has better teams across all ages this year than Bethesda tournament Oh how the mighty have fallen |
| Is Bethesda Cup happening? The girl's showcase is less than two weeks away and schedules haven't been posted. I wouldn't be surprised with the high infection country in Utah and South Dakota, MoCo decided to shut down the tournament. |
People aren't getting sick from attending soccer games. If Montgomery County wants to shut something down it should be indoor dining. |
I think 10 days early for scedules is not uncommon |
|
Unless you are coming from out of town. I hope DD's cub pulls out.
|
Local matches are being cancelled every week |
Good chance leagues shut down soon |
It is uncommon |
Really! Didn't the governors of MD and VA just sign orders allowing HS sports? WAGS was only a few weeks back. |
As I said, its not uncommon. NOVEMBER 21-22, 2020 The Nation's Capital Cup - Boys Weekend Schedules Tournament Schedule:Schedules will be posted by Wed, 11/11 at 10pm https://www.elitetournaments.com/tournament/nations-capital-cup-boys-weekend |
| Wind is howling and temps are dropping. Must be time for the Bethesda Cup. Just don’t get stuck in the Don’s Jon when it blows over ... |
| The acceptance letter indicates that the tournament schedules would be released no later than Nov. 2nd. Something tells me that rising COVID numbers are making MoCo officials nervous about large gatherings. I wish Bethesda would let people know if there is a risk of the tournament being cancelled. |
There is always a risk. Normally the club finds out news along with the rest of the county- or via an updated order. |
| The tournament directors know and should keep people informed so people can plan for another tournament. MoCo leadership is skittish. |
