What's the most weird pregnancy symptom you had?

sponge lady here... I have the pee problem too!!! it's soooo annoying!!!

now, to the dream lady, I read something really comforting about that kind of dream - being single and sleeping around:
our self image is disturbed during pregnancy and it can be just unconscious when the woman is confident. her subconscious makes up such dreams to boost up her self confidence and self esteem. I had those too... LOL

Add me to the meat list. Before my first pregnancy, I hadn't had a hamburger in about 5 years, but once I was pregnant, all I wanted was five guys burgers. I tried to restrain myself to once a week. Now pregnant again and back to craving the burgers.

Oh my gosh! Me too!!!

Also, I don't know if this is weird, but I'm thirsty all the time.

Oh I had those! The first hint that I was pregnant were the vivid, mind-blowing sex dreams that crossed all manner of my regular boundaries.

Man, I would LOVE to have these symptoms~

Don't give up hope -- I never did this during my first pregnancy, but had the 'orgasm in my sleep' symptom for this pregnancy the other night. Here's to hoping it keeps up!

For those that craved meat - did you have a boy or a girl? I craved meat with my son and can barely say the word meat with this pregnancy without feeling a little queasy ... we've kept the sex a surprise so I don't know if this is an indication that I'm carrying a different gender or just experiencing pregnancy differently this time around

I am only 12 weeks right now, but here goes:

1.) The orgasms in my sleep thing -- CHECK!
2.) Bloody noses everyday
3.) Vomiting every night (not weird, I know -- but cruel)
4.) Incredibly strong odor aversion (even to soap)
5.) Can't take any medication without vomiting it back up
6.) Insanely vivid dreams that were also kind of creepy
7.) The urge to constantly change my hairstyle
8.) Leg soreness

I know that some of these aren't that "weird" but they're definitely not normal for me. The medication thing is unfortunate because when I get headaches I basically just have to suffer. I also had a root canal at 8 weeks and couldn't keep the pain killers down. I also can't stop eating cucumbers soaked in vinegar. The nocturnal orgasms thing is great, and it started around 8 weeks too. I didn't see that coming at all! As it turns out, I want to have sex with DH more, and the orgasms during that are way more intense. I told him, "Finally, a side-effect that kind of makes up for all the crap I've been going through." I make him have sex every other night or so, and so far he hasn't complained. Even if it only lasts for a few minutes, sometimes I just need to feel "it." I orgasm about 75% of the time, and the other 25% of the time I just want "impulse sex" during a commercial break. Definitely a plus!!

Nose bleeds, why does no one tell you about the nose bleeds!! I also can't even think about most meat, and I'm in my second trimester! Oh, and the lavendar thing, I thought I was the only one. I found this great bar of soap at Whole foods that is for pregnant women, taking a deep breath of it is one of the techniques I found for being able to swallow my prenatal without gaging... Whatever works seems to be my motto right now. Honestly, I'm not sure what will come next

Extreme and unremitting hatred of chicken.

Happened to me during my last pregnancy as well - I went from eating chicken several times a week to really, REALLY hating the taste, sight, smell, even the mention of chicken. I can't imagine why humans eat such a vile substance. (And then I give birth, and go right back to enjoying my chicken sandwiches.)

With first pregnancy I hated meat, ate a lot of fruit, had a girl who hates meat and loves fruit. Second pregancy craved burgers, had a son who adores fast food burgers (unfortunately).

My lactose intolerance went away for the duration of my pregnancy. Which was great because I had severe milkshake and ice cream cravings throughout the pregnancy.

Came back with a vengeance post-partum, though.

I also retained so much water that my skin looked mottled. My ankles completely disappeared, and my feet were the size of melons by the end of every day. If I used a nautilus machine at the gym and the apparatus pressed on my leg, the indentation would be there for 5 minutes after I finished the exercise.

Craved chopped chicken liver (really).
Stopped having migraines...saw white spots in front of my eyes instead.

I am in awe of you ladies who became more tolerant of your DH. My patience/tolerance has gone out the window. I'm usually very laid back but these hormones are doing something crazy to me!

I hated the taste and smell of meat. I felt like my body was busy producing muscle, bone, tendons, ligaments, blood, and other tissue to create another human being baby... I did NOT want to eat another creature. The thought totally grossed me out. (And this coming from a bacon lover!)

The things I loved eating were milk, sugar, and citrus flavors. Weah, I gained weight.
