What's the most weird pregnancy symptom you had?

I used to be a vegetarian. I say used to because I made the mistake of telling DH and he went out and got me White Castle after watching me drool on the floor during Harold and Kumar.

I'm curious, did your child from that pregancy also end up being a "meatatarian" as my son did? During my pregnancy with him, I craved quarter pounders with cheese and ate them at least 4 times per week. Disgusting to think about now, but I couldn't help it.

totally normal but as soon as i started feeling the intense fatigue (about two weeks after conception) i just knew. i took a test on a monday and was surprised it was negative. took another one on saturday and...positive!

also glad to hear that others have mellowed out too! i thought it was just me. i am usually so high strung and anxious and i thought for sure my hormones would make me have an even shorter temper. but i feel much more relaxed and calm now.

I'm very very emotional. I eat about every two hours and I have crazy dreams including the sex dreams and so much worse.

I throw up when I brush my teeth in the morning. And, I have crazy food aversions - I used to eat salads every day for lunch, and now just thinking about eating a vegetable makes me want to throw up! I've eaten more donuts in the last two days than I did in the year before that. And, if we didn't have a blizzard outside, I'd be at Dunkin Donuts for another two. So unhealthy, but I don't feel like eating anything, so donuts it is!

I also had intense thirst, like I could not drink enough water. It was crazy. And I slept ALL the time. Luckily during the first two weeks we were on vacation but I was not that much fun--went to bed at 9pm and took a 2 hour nap during the day.
So so sad that it's a blizzard outside because I would practically give my left arm for a 5 Guys burger right now.

I had these too and real looking sex dreams!

Nobody talks about drooling.... too much saliva should have given away my pregnancy this time around, but I must have been in denial.

Weirdest thing ever: I could get high off the smell of lavender. Has to be the real deal and no extras like Vanilla or other mix-ins. I prefer the products by Avalon, Method and Aura Cacia. Wish I could just eat it, but instead stand there smelling it like some kind of addict. Interestingly, my SIL who is a nurse/researcher says that lavender has estrogen in it, so I don't know if that's related. I just know that as soon as the baby comes (3 weeks!!) I'll stop my sniffing.

Oh my gosh! Me too!!!

Also, I don't know if this is weird, but I'm thirsty all the time.

Oh I had those! The first hint that I was pregnant were the vivid, mind-blowing sex dreams that crossed all manner of my regular boundaries.

Man, I would LOVE to have these symptoms~

Yeah both kids are little carnivores. That's why my evil DH did what he did because we'd been arguing back and forth about raising them veggie. It also turned out I was very anemic, so along with the meat cravings I had almost extreme fatigue. Then when I was pregnant with DS 2 I didn't find out for awhile, but I should have known because every night after work I made a mad dash to McDonalds for a quarter pounder meal.

Now I'll only stop at Mickey D's under extreme duress, and then the only thing I want are the fries.

Sponge-lady, you have my dirt-craving beat right there! At least with dirt, I figured I needed some sort of mineral (and I started drinking the most chalky tasting mineral water I could find). Not sure what kind of nutritional needs are predicted by a kitchen sponge, though!

Two new freckles -- one on my tummy and one on my palm. I'm fairly freckly, but these are definitely new, and darker than the freckles I already had. And they weren't caused by sun exposure -- my tummy was definitely covered from very early on!

Also, towards the end, the hair on my legs barely grew at all. I could easily go a week without needing to shave, whereas usually it's every other or every 2 days at most. That stopped immediately after giving birth.

everytime i pee (which is very frequent), i sit and make sure all is gone, wipe, flush, stand up, wash hands, leave and then 2 minutes later a little pee (or something) drips out. what is that? this is my first pregnancy, and i have heard of this happening after you have a baby...but not before.
oh i have crazy dreams, last night i dreamt that my breast implant fell out of my chest and there was a gaping whole in my chest and i could see my lungs and heart. and i couldn't for the life of me get ahold of my plastic surgeon to fix it.
i'm always dreaming too that i am single and sleeping with all of these different hot guys...

I have the pee problem, too! It is driving me nuts! It started at about 5 1/2 months and still a problem at 8!
