He was an American man who didn't want to f@ck his female HS students, I was an American woman. |
Unrelated to OP’s question, but do peace corps volunteers who Are teaching have sex with their high school students often? I guess I’m just naive, I had never heard about that. |

Why, YES THEY DO. And then they go on to get federal jobs after bragging about getting an STI from a 15 year old! We all know about it, Mark! |

I agree with PPs, it isn't about where you meet, it's about having shared values. I would go futher and say it isn't about shared interests either, that helps, but it's also about each person's ability to be in a healthy relationship. |

Through our respective childhood friends! My childhood friend married his childhood friend. I'd like to say we met at their wedding, but we met at their engagement party and although we were both in the wedding, I had a serious boyfriend who was my date.
The week that that relationship ended, we went out on a double date. Dated for three years, engaged for 1. Married for 24 years. |
| We were set up by a mutual friend and emailed back and forth for a few weeks before meeting in person for dinner. I loved (still love) his writing. I scared he would disappoint me in person. He didn't. |
