He's probably just too chicken to make a move or he finds you unattractive. But he's considered it, and it has nothing to do with his morals.


PP - I’m definitely on the attractive side so you can rule that out. His wife is more attractive than me and he seems very happy. He has too many things going well in his life to want to screw it up.

And yea theres no such thing as platonic friendships between men and women. You'll notice ugly women seldom experience these "platonic" friendships

I was going to respond that the forehead kiss sounds brotherly/awkward, not sexual. But apparently in both of your cultures it's a big deal? So yes, apparently it's a big deal.
