How did you grow up and live with a unstable, insecure, mean sibling?

Mine eventually got therapy and grew out of the abusive behavior. We now have a distant but friendly relationship. 10 years ago I would have said it was hopeless. She decided to change and I decided slowly over several years to allow her back into my life.

NP here. I have one sibling, and he's really sweet. I don't see it that way at all. It seems clear on most of these posts that after a lot of suffering, PPs are creating healthy boundaries. Good for them.

I was going to post the same thing. Some of these posts I totally understand and the poster sounds level headed. Some of the others just drop with hate. Very sad.
