Yea, Mercedes commands a premium over BMW and Audi these days. I wonder what a CPO off-lease GLC goes for. Even the base 2.0L Turbo 4 is amazingly powerful and torquey in the GLC. I drove one as a loaner and it was very enjoyable. I like the X3 as well - it's one of the bright spots in BMW's otherwise dull product line. Good luck hunting! |
| My three-year-old x3 has been problem free. Will see in years, but I think it’s a good sign so far. I think an off lease one would be a good bet. |
| We have an X3 and a Q5 and like both. Repairs for the BMW get expensive. |
I agree ! |
NP. Judging by the number of posts on DCUM by people who will only lease and refuse to OWN an Audi, BMW etc I think many would disagree. |

No brainer. |
Assuming you don't mind a starting MSRP over $50K. There are compact luxury SUVs that start at much less. |
| Why is the compass on that list? I rented one with only a couple thousand miles on it and hated it. Nothing about it felt luxury or even safe. |

Anyone have opinions on Acura? That's what I'm looking at.
Two kids in carseats. Do sometimes need to haul a lot of boxes in the back. |

| We are happy with our 2019 RDX. |
8 just replied separately by mistake. We are happy with the RDX. Very comfortable but our kids are teens so I don’t have experience with car seats. The new MDX is rumored to be available in December if you need a third row. We might get that to replace our other car which is a minivan. |
Thanks! Good idea on waiting for the new MDX to come out so we can compare. I'm planning on replacing my sedan in winter/spring when I'll be driving more with the kids (with office and school for the older one closed right now, no need to drive much right now). |
Their consumer reports reviews are dismal for some reason. |
Love LOVE my 2018 Q5 Prestige. I don't know how I lasted so long without adaptive cruise control and head-up display. |
