Cameron Diaz/Benji Madden & Nicole Richie/Joel Madden

She's 47 years old!

Wikipedia says they JUST had a baby? Was her pregnancy faked? 46-47 is very old and very dangerous.

And Ritchie has... never had a real job?

She was what 40 when she marriage.

42 or put another way, 10 to 15 years past her Hollywood prime?

Cam Diaz hasn’t been A List in like 20 years.

Look, I'm no Diaz fan. But they have been together a long time. And she had a very successful run in Hollywood. And if you followed Entertainment news at all, even superficially like I do, you will know that she proactively "retired" from showbiz (acting, at least) several years ago. I'm not sure why you have to put such a negative spin on it.

BTW, what do you do in life that is so much better?

Like having twins named Jennifer and Lassie.

His name is Benjamin, dummy.

Then why are you people calling him Benji? And why aren't you calling Joel Joelly? The names are not equal.

You've.....never heard of a nickname?

Like you don't know anyone named Julia/Julie or Madeline/Maddie? Probably most guys named Benjamin would've shortened it to Ben for professional reasons, but he didn't have professional reasons to be Ben and not Benji, so there you go.

I get nicknames but the twins I know have 'equal names'.... eg Jennifer/Jessica or Jen/Jess or Michael and Matthew or Mike/Matt. I don't know any where only one has a nickname I guess. I guess I'm the weird one on this. I did know a set of twins named Atlas and Rodney and we all thought that was weird as well.

Jesus. Please. Unclench.

I know you don't want to hear this - but they are high status men.

As a mother of twins, I can tell you that many of us think of our twins not as a "set," but instead as two siblings who happen to have shared a womb. Just like how one sibling can have a nickname and another does not, one twin can have a nickname and the other does not. My children do not at all have "matching" names, neither in initials nor in syllable length.

I used to work with their first cousin. She lives in the area. This is way before Cameron and Nicole, but definitely during the height of Good Charlotte (actually, Nicole may have been in the picture, idk).

This is precisely what she said about them, "they're such nice boys". The family was all really proud of them and seemed like nice people without any big drama.

Wake up, gramps! It’s 2020.

I thought they used a surrogate?

This. The way they talk about their wives and families makes them seem like good, sweet partners.

Yes and Hilary Duff alluded to this when she dated one of them.

Yes you are weird and your world view is small.

They did use a surrogate. I'm guessing they've been through some years of fertility treatments.

Hence this washed up fat tattooed rocker being able to marry her. Rich high-status men don't want an infertile woman, no matter how famous she is or was.
