I think these matches make sense.
Nicole Richie had a moment of fame but ultimately she was never an A-lister so marrying someone about her level of success makes sense. I was really surprised at how quickly she calmed down after she had a baby, but I guess she was an addict and got help so good for her. As for Cameron, I think the most successful marriages of famous people are when they marry someone not on the same level. Otherwise it's competitive. Benji is very much behind the scenes producing etc with his company and not aiming to be in the spotlight. Cameron says she has given up acting but she'll continue to do her healthy living stuff and be more front and center. I assume they'll have one more baby via surrogate. |
Cameron Diaz is def not A list. At this point she's not on any list. but...some people actually marry decent people that they like, strange concept I know. |

Cameron Diaz has been out of the spotlight for several years, but she was definitely an A-list movie star. |
Didn't Anne Hathaway marry some criminal? The average actress is an uneducated dimwit who got her carry buttering up some gross creep like Weinstein. |
Didn't marry him, but, yeah. |
I used to run with kids who later were in the same circles as the twins. They always said they were basically nice guys. |
You don't know any one who shares a name with a dog? I know tons. Benji is a diminutive of Benjamin. I'm not Jewish, didn't meet a Jewish person until I was in college but I knew several Benji's growing up. |
His name is Benjamin, dummy. |
This is it. Nice people that happen to have some money. |
He loves her. Love has no boundaries. God bless them. |
Then why are you people calling him Benji? And why aren't you calling Joel Joelly? The names are not equal. |
You've.....never heard of a nickname? Like you don't know anyone named Julia/Julie or Madeline/Maddie? Probably most guys named Benjamin would've shortened it to Ben for professional reasons, but he didn't have professional reasons to be Ben and not Benji, so there you go. |
I get nicknames but the twins I know have 'equal names'.... eg Jennifer/Jessica or Jen/Jess or Michael and Matthew or Mike/Matt. I don't know any where only one has a nickname I guess. I guess I'm the weird one on this. I did know a set of twins named Atlas and Rodney and we all thought that was weird as well. |
Benjamin and Joel are similar style names. Joel doesn't have a common nickname. Benji is a common nickname for Benjamin. The only odd thing here is that Benji madden didn't drop the little kid nickname that's akin to Billy. But as a previous poster indicated, he never entered the professional office setting type job so he never had to switch to Ben or Benjamin the way someone would switch to Bill or William. |
