Divorcing - what to do with all the marital stuff?

Chuck it.

Advice for everybody not divorcing. Use your China now. Every day. Or is actually sturdier than the cheap stuff. Looks nicer. Run it through the dishwasher and in 10 or 20 years will be faded and when you divorce you won't feel bad about ditching it. But don't run the silver through the dishwasher. It makes it tarnish quicker.

He never wants to move from this house he lived in with his ex wife. And he expects me to be fine with that. To just live in this house he bought with his ex with all their stuff lying around. Won’t budge. It may end our relationship. The ghost of his ex wife permeates this house. So, something to consider.

My boyfriend of two years also still has a ton of his ex’s stuff. Honestly it’s like he doesn’t see it. Or there’s never a good time to get it to her. I’ve started joking he should be charging her storage for her junk. He still has her knick knacks and hideous framed posters too. He’s kind of a hoarder though and pretty sloppy so I’m sure he just doesn’t notice it.
