Did you try to login to Apex? We haven’t heard from the teacher yet but Apex sent a progress update — showing zero progress since the class hasn’t started but it included the teacher’s email. I’m going to email in the AM if I don’t hear anything.

E-mailed summer school office yesterday and still no response.

Same here. Received Zoom link from Health teacher, but nothing from Precalc teacher. I understand it's not the teachers' fault, they're receiving info at the last minute!

What email accounts? My son is not getting anything via his email account he accessed through Canvas.

Go MCPS!!! So organized. So on top of it.

MCPS is offering more summer options than ever before, most at no additional charge to families. At the same time, there are people working around the clock to plan for the fall, accounting for endless scenarios.

It seems you already received confirmation for the class. Is there any reason that receiving the Zoom info this afternoon really put you out?!

The entitlement and constant MCPS bashing is exhausting! Have a little patience!

I'm not the previous poster but I understand the frustration. I still can't access Apex and my DDs class started this rmoning.

My kids have had three classes today, all through MCPS classroom and Canvas. They are run by MCPS central, not the schools.

ES parent here. Login was the same as last spring. Using Google classroom. Three classes each daily. All teachers from our local ES. They really enjoyed it.

My kids both took regional Foundations of Tech A and B today. They ran smoothly.

Anyone else’s kid not able to get in today? Who is the best contact in MCPS to trouble shoot?

Any feedback on the high school classes offered online? Any chance they’ve figured it out and can make distance learning better this fall?

Which classes?

There’s regional classes and individual school classes. My kids are taking both types for a total of 5 sections of 4 distinct courses. Yesterday was fine, but that was just three classes. And it was only the first day. We had a positive experience at TPMS in the spring so it hasn’t been a big worry for us.
