Use you kid’s initial - all caps and then their Mcps ID number.

Initials. Joe Smith 12345 would be JS12345 and then the same password. It will then prompt you to change the password.

Thank you for the detailed information. It’s not working for my kids but maybe the teacher still doesn’t have things up and running. I will try again tomorrow. I understand that the teachers have a lot going on but leaving this to the very last minute is really harsh on students.

It wasn’t the teachers’ fault. Rosters were given on Friday afternoon. I emailed because I did not get mine and was freaking out and I just teach a non-credit middle enrichment course. Still no reply from my principal.

I always appreciate knowing how things work behind the scenes. Once I paid for the class, what were the steps and who was supposed to do them to get that information into the teacher’s hands? (In other words, happy to not blame teachers, would like to direct my commentary at the appropriate party)

Thanks for this info. Still no email from the teacher and the class starts tomorrow morning. My kid was able to log in and will start the class online. She's just worried and stressed out that if she misses the Zoom meeting she'll be kicked out even though she never received an email.

On my schools listserv (Blair), kids seem to be hearing from teachers today.

This was also shared if you do not hear soon.

A few days before the start of your class(es), you will receive a welcome email from your teacher(s) with additional information about your course(s). This information will include your teacher’s name(s) and email address(es), log in directions to access your course(s), and any other important course information.

Please notify the Summer School office if you do not receive the teacher’s welcome email within three days of the start of your class.

We heard from one teacher but not the other. Class is supposed to be tomorrow at 10:30 and we have nothing.

E-mailed summer school office yesterday and still no response.

Same here. Received Zoom link from Health teacher, but nothing from Precalc teacher. I understand it's not the teachers' fault, they're receiving info at the last minute!

MCPS is offering more summer options than ever before, most at no additional charge to families. At the same time, there are people working around the clock to plan for the fall, accounting for endless scenarios.

It seems you already received confirmation for the class. Is there any reason that receiving the Zoom info this afternoon really put you out?!

The entitlement and constant MCPS bashing is exhausting! Have a little patience!

DD is supposed to start Health at 9am tomorrow and has received, NOTHING. It is 6:25pm Sunday, class actually starts in less than 15 hours...
