It's great that fields are opening but this delay on permitted use smacks of laziness. Why would you not go directly to it? If your concern is safety, permitted use would at least offer some adult regulation.


I agree. The permits could be subject to the ten person requirement. I think the parks department is hoping leagues cancel summer sessions and then they don’t have to deal with permit work.

Our club mentioned the fields announcement and stated that there will be no organized club practices. Coaches are free to offer private small group practices under certain conditions.
