| Stanford, Berkeley and brown are into their waitlists. |
If you are full pay, why do you have to fill out the FAFSA? You won't be applying for financial aid, correct? |
This is crazy! Stanford must normally have one of the highest yields around! |
| Watch out for the extended waitlist. My kid was on waitlist until late August and ultimately did not get in. Ridiculous it was dragged out so long. Had her hopes up until the night we drove to her actual college. |
| My kid is on one waitlist but might withdraw from it. We applied for Fa and probably can’t afford the school without nearly full Fa so she didn’t write loci saying “I will come if I get in.” |
This makes me angry considering that they reopened apps. I would be pissed if my kid was qualified and still on the waitlist |
You don’t. What i said was Georgetown email said make sure your FAFSA is in. We do t have to because full pay. |
| So if you are full pay, you just don't fill out FAFSA and that lets them know? |
Yes and you check no for financial aid. Not applying. |
| Stanford puts way too many kids on their waitlist. So obnoxious to string them along emotionally. I've never understood that. The Ivies keep their waitlists much shorter. |
| MIT waitlisted several hundred more than usual this year. |
| But has MIT gone to its WL? |
| Carnegie Mellon went to their waitlist but now has sent email that they are full, for now anyway. |
We have been dealing with F&M. Very good experience. All positive. |
