Seems like a solid plan.

If at first you don't succeed, try 36 more times. (And still fail.)

Imagine the rage that built up as she was continuously posting...

You, sir, are a liar. Either that or your logs are misreporting information. I tried twice then realized that you blocked a dumb word that is NOT offensive. When I asked about it as well as other words that seem to grind your gears, you blocked me.

You ain't got to lie to kick it.

I only came back to see if you addressed it, and to find you lying about it is disappointing. I've been using DCUM for years and have been active in several forums. I've even clicked on ads from time to time. You could have said "yeah I blocked you because it's my site and I do what I want", but lying is beneath you, or so I thought.

Choosing to no longer frequent this site is definitely the right decision. You don't need any ad revenue from my demographic anyway, so I'm certain that you don't care, but I hope that you reconsider your boycott on honesty for the sake of the folks who are still using the site.

The logs show what I said they did. The logs show your IP address being repeatedly blocked and then being banned automatically. They also show it being unbanned automatically after 24 hours. I also just reconfirmed and there was no manual blocking of your address. Whatever happened was automatic. I am not lying about this. It is unlikely, though possible, that your IP address is shared by other posters and they were the ones being blocked. It's also possible that you are not being honest about what occurred.

I have no reason to lie about this. As you noted, I can block you for any reason I feel like. If I had blocked you because of your post here, I would have said so. Website Feedback is full of posters who do nothing but complain and none of them claim to have been blocked because of their Website Feedback posts? Why would you be the first, especially since your post was pretty innocuous in the first place?

I am not the person who did this, and I see OP claimed it was not her.

But, if one is unaware that a word or phrase in a posting is banned and gets the dreaded "forbidden" message, do you expect that poster to just not post the message at all?

Or, might the poster try to figure out the banned word or phrase by trial and error? That may take some time. And, repeated tries. I know from experience.

Who knew the first name of our second lady Pence was banned?

You are clever.

This whole thread makes me happy.

Now I want to know. I feel like I should get it...

I’m having corona nightmares and not sleeping well. Someone help me out so I don’t have this running through my head. Hint Better.

I imagine Ford is because her initials can be a shorthand for clusterf&&&? Although honestly, watching Trump trying to manage a pandemic while I homeschool two kids and telework... if ever there was a time when the word was appropriate, it’s now.

She is pretty much the original K., come to think of it. Fitting.

I think the banned words were cropped pants. They do nothing for women!

The pants that share the name of the beautiful Italian island is banned? Am I missing a joke?

DP. DCUM’s Beauty and Fashion forum hates them. They cut you off mid-calf, thereby making you look shorter and fatter. That said, I’ll bet most there wear them at least sometimes, when they know they won’t be recognized.

Yes it was a joke.
