Only in America is height such a limiting factor. Just goes to show how low-level soccer is in this country. |
Yes it sucks, but those are the breaks in the US. We are pretty terrible at this. |
Girls Gatorade Player of the year played HS soccer all 4 years. Playing at Georgetown now. |
Unless player was a goalkeeper. |
Nice! What next? "never happened to Top D1 Recruits Who Did Not Go to Outstanding Catholic Universities" What a joke. It's hard to figure out the agenda for anti-HSers but sometimes plain stupidity is the most plausible explanation. |
Well in all fairness, all HS rosters are made up of Gatorade Players of the year. Of course HS soccer is amazing. But then again, this is a thread asking how many are choosing not to play HS soccer. The butt hurt by the HS crowd is hilarious. Nobody is taking your HS soccer away but nobody NEEDS to be impressed by it either. |
Believe me, nobody who is good at what they do does it because they need to impress anybody, and I really doubt anybody feels the need to impress you. In other words, I am not impressed that you are not impressed. Who the hell cares? |
No one’s trying to impress anyone. The Gatorade commenter was being satirical. Just tired of people ragging on HS soccer. It’s a fun experience for many kids. Believe it or not for 99% of young players soccer is about having fun. For you it is some badge of honor or bragging right. Go live in your high pay elite DA or ECNL travel world and leave the rest alone. |
The thread literally asked about ECNL and GAL girls specifically. Sorry that bothers you. Nobody is taking your fun away. |
Every player has the choice to play high school, every club should provide training and matches for players not interested in high school |
