Dog watches intently when I'm showering

My dog does the same thing and I think it's out of concern. For him, being bathed is the worst possible thing that can happen to him and it seems as though he is very worried that I'm being forced in the shower. He watches intently and will whine. When I get out, he always wants to be very close as well.

Mine lays on the bath mat while I shower, then goes away once I get out. She does not do it with DH. I assume this is because she loves me more and wants to know what I’m doing.
