I have no love for James Corden and I am ashamed to know this but... James had previously worked on a TV project with Louis Tomlinson's mother years before. When Louis and the boys were on their own in London (during filming of the show and in the whirlwind year after) Louis's mom got in touch with James and asked him if he and his wife could look out for the boys as they were all still teens. James and his wife started having them over for dinner and gave them an open door invitation whenever they had free time. Louis and Harry apparently spent a lot of time with them the first year or so, the other boys a little less so. It was a home away from home and a bit of family life.

Howard Stern is known for being absolutely amazing to his staff. Look how long they've all worked for him.

For as childish and gross Stern can be, he's also brilliant and on top of things. I can't imagine he'd be rude to his staff.

+1 I am not a huge fan of his show but he knows his fan base and he works it. I also have heard that he is a very kind person. My lesson from his is that I have to remember that I can't judge a book by its cover.

It's strange and distasteful, more encouragement of ugliness in an ugly time.

I am no fan of DeGeneres, dislike her show, and find her and her comedy unfunny. Yes, there have been so many stories of her meanness for so many years that I do not doubt there are people out there telling the truth about her behavior. But whoever the target is, and however much the target deserves being called out, it seems gross for anyone to say "let's dredge up all the ugly stories" and to do it under the guise of charity to help others. The comedian could have asked for people to post something positive like good encounters with celebrities, if he wanted to go the celeb route. But that wouldn't have gotten him nearly the attention this has, right?

Like Ellen, Chelsea arrogantly mailed it in and would rather be ANYWHERE else but filming a show. Chelsea now has no career and hopefully Ellen can fade away soon too.

I wonder how long Ellen's contract is for? She seems so over the talk show and as you say she has the wealth to never need to work again.
