It was a problem when I was pregnant. Otherwise not an issue at 32B, but I sleep without a bra. |
I really hate wearing them, and I'm not at all fat. Just the worst, most constricting feeling. |
I am at 34H, not fat and I take mine off every chance I get. |
I'm small chested (barely a B cup) and like to remove bras in the evening. They don't affirmatively bother me but I have sensitive skin so tend to be conscious of the straps on my back (I feel the pressure and they sometimes itch). I find sports bras more comfortable. I don't really need the support, but have pointy nips so can't go braless if out in public (and I need a light lining on swimsuits). |
I hate bras and rarely wear one. I only do for exercising. I purposely purchase shirts with discretion in mind (hello Lands End patterned baggy flannels!)
I probably wear a bra once a week outside exercise. I also don't believe it is appropriate to judge people for not wearing a bra. I mean really, who are we to let others dictate what makes us comfortable? That is so anti-feminist. If you prefer it, by all means wear one. FWIW, the reason I hate them so is that they are a migraine trigger for me. The tight band, the constriction...gives me a migraine at least 50% of the time. FWIW I am a 36D. |
FIRST thing I do when I come home is take off my bra. I hate it all day. I’m an AA cup. I was happiest just wearing silicone nipple covers and no bra, but other women gave me grief about it. |
PPs who find the back uncomfortable: try adding a bra extender. It eliminated upper back spasms and backaches for me. |
NP What is there to understand? It is just more comfortable, not rocket science. I also don't wear underwear at night either! |
I hate wearing a bra, and try not to wear one as much as possible, only wish I could find one that was comfortable but did not make my breasts look like bowling balls. I also hate underwear too. |
D cup get that monster off my chest when I get home. |
Because it's not reflective of my experience which is that I am more comfortable wearing a bra than not. With you on the underwear at night though! |
38D and I have never minded wearing a bra. I also don't mind underwires. I've begun sleeping in a lightweight, non underwire bra to give the girls some support at night. I have very pointy nipples though, so I've never been able to go braless. |
I do not like wearing them in the summer when they get sweaty, otherwise I do don’t even think about it. |
32DD and I’m more comfortable wearing a bra. I wear a tank with a built-in panel under my pajamas at night.
The support feels good to me. I have tried lots of bras and stick with two styles: one Natori and one from Gap Body. |
Do they know you're not wearing one? How/why do they give you grief? |
